I'm cool? | #lilyannapicnic

As many of you will know, Lily and Anna held a meet up this Sunday in London, which they branded as #LilyAnnaPicnic. It was a lovely day(not just because of the weather) as both Lily and Anna took the time and effort to go around and speak to the various groups of people that had come to see them, along with coming to try some of Anna's fab Lemon drizzle cake!

Despite feeling as though I may be speechless due to them being two of my favourite bloggers and people who truly inspire me to be creative and keep writing my blog, speaking to them made me feel so at ease as they were so lovely and down-to-earth, although the amount of people there must have clearly been overwhelming!!

Being able to be there and share my love for blogging with them and the friends I went with made the day extra special, as well Lily and Anna remembering us from meeting us earlier in the day. It is little things like that, that prove what genuine and caring people they are, to make the effort to do that when there was easily over 100 people there, plus being told by someone you admire that they think YOU and your friends are 'cool girls' ;) which I can say has never happened even by my parents... lol

Here are some pictures from the meetup along with my outfit, as I had sometime to spare and a beatiful backdrop to take the photos with. If you don't know about Lily and Anna, I have linked their sites here and here.

Rich went around filming some extras along with Mark filming a fun mexican wave!

Brick Lane loving

I must confess, I truly think Brick Lane and Spitalfields market, are my favourite places in london(or are at least up there in my top 5). I just feel so at home rummaging through vintage shops and staring for hours on end at a single wall because the art has changed since my last visit. It's the type of place that I could never get bored of because there's always something new or different depending on the day of week!!
I will admit that I can get in a rut/routine very easily, whether that be trying something different with my make up etc but that's what I love about Brick Lane, it always has a slightly different atmosphere so if I end up going 3 times in a week it doesn't feel repetitive.

No outfit pictures today but a tonne of amazing art!

Uptown Girl | Day in Chealsea

So many picture heavy posts recently you must be so bored already!! I was out in chelsea today with a friend, since it wasn't somewhere I'd really been before and it's such a nice place to just walk around and window shop. Especially with today's weather it felt as if we were walking the streets of Rome or Madrid...not london!

I won't go on too long so here are the photos and today's outfit x

Homebound

THANK YOU WEATHER...before I start this post properly I just have to mention how amazing today's weather was, honestly, could not believe that I was only in a garden and not another country!

Today was a chilled kind of day - lots chatting,snacking,chatting,laughing,snacking...snacking again...(damn you m&m crispy's!!) I was able to spend the day with a group of school friends I've known since nursery, one of which moved to Chicago 7 years ago and is here on a short but sweet visit. As much as I love going out and about, exploring and shopping, it was lovely to simply spend the day with good company.

I took a few pictures of the day, along with some of my outfit.
